Spanning the years from our current century, up to the forty-second, this collection follows some new characters and a couple of old favorites.

We start off with Jean, a VR gamer earning a living as a thief just a few decades from current year. Then she gets an offer no gamer can refuse: The opportunity to do a full dive, along with a huge payday. Should be easy, right?

A few centuries later, we meet Flynn, captain of the Javelin, who is on her way to be the first person to ever drill all the way through Europa's ice and sample the waters in the ocean below. So long as nature and her competition don't end her dream first. This story is also likely to kick off a Future Generation Terraformers series, so you'll want to get familiar with some of the early players.

With Sol in the rearview mirror, we head off to Lucida (Beta Hydri) where Finaeus is working on an ambitious project to not only terraform two worlds at once, but build the FGT's own shipyards. It's a momentous time, especially with Lyssander soon to arrive.

A few centuries later, Cora (Finaeus's daughter) has split off from the Seventh World Fleet to check out an uninhabited system that is giving off a strange signal. Thing is, no one has ever been there before.

And lastly, we pay a visit to Tanis and Joe during their long journey from Estrella de la Muerte to Kapteyn's Star. Remember how they got married on that trip, but you never heard the story? Well, you're about to--and you're going to learn a few things that not even Tanis and Joe know!
